DreamTree Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing housing and compassionate support services to New Mexico youth. Located in Taos, DreamTree Project offers emergency teen shelter, a transitional living program, street outreach, and resources for youth throughout northern New Mexico, including Colfax, Mora, Rio Arriba, Taos, and Union counties.
Dreamtree’s NEST facility offers emergency shelter and supportive services for adults and families in our community who are experiencing housing insecurity.
Founded by a group of concerned Taoseñas, who united nearly 20 years ago to help find housing solutions for local youth, DreamTree is committed to carrying on their mission. Our vision is that all New Mexico youth have stability, support, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams. We are based in Taos County and conduct outreach throughout the northeast region of the state.

If you are considering making a bequest to the DreamTree Project Endowment Fund of the Taos Community Foundation, we recommend the following:
In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
