Helen Forte originally hails from the United Kingdom and has travelled, worked, and lived in several far flung destinations, including Grand Bahama and Honduras, before arriving in Taos 11 years ago with her husband Kent and children Maya and Dylan. Helen comes to the Foundation with extensive and varied experience as a trainer, educational leader, consultant and manager. She holds degrees in Literature, Education, and School Administration, and is a certified trainer, presenter, and facilitator. Here in New Mexico Helen has been an active volunteer member of many non-profit boards and advisory groups in addition to her work for UNM Taos’ Early Childhood program and UNM Continuing Education departments, and she is thrilled to move into this new role where she will use her knowledge, skills, and above all, her passion for people, to make a difference in our community.
