Taos Ski Valley Foundation recently donated $50,000 to the Taos Community Foundation’s Emergency Action Fund to aid those impacted by recent wildfires.

Taos Ski Valley Foundation recently donated $50,000 to the Taos Community Foundation’s Emergency Action Fund to aid those impacted by wildfires. To date, the Taos Community Foundation has awarded nearly $200,000 in local grants this fire season in efforts to help those most in need.

“The Taos Community Foundation is determined to stand with those impacted by wildfires and continues to deploy funds as needs are identified. We are so grateful to the Taos Ski Valley Foundation for their incredible, reliable generosity. We would not be able to be as responsive to our community’s needs without this support,” said Lisa O’Brien, Director of the Taos Community Foundation.

“The Taos Ski Valley Foundation is proud to support our neighbors who are battling the impacts of wildfires through the Taos Community Foundation’s Emergency Action Fund,” said Louis Bacon, founder of The Taos Ski Valley Foundation. “We hope that our donation will inspire others to support these heroic efforts.”

Taos Ski Valley and Taos Ski Valley Foundation are longtime partners of the Taos Community Foundation which supports the greatest community needs in Taos County through grants to local nonprofits.
