Taos School of Music
"Mountain, Music, and Memories!"
Taos School of Music is a 501(c)3 organization grown out of a dream a creating a summer chamber music program in the early 1960’s.
Students live, eat, practice and perform at the Hotel St. Bernard up in the Taos Ski Valley, as part of an eight-week session. Students accomplished in violin, viola, cello and piano are selected through a rigorous application process that includes either a live schedule audition held at The Julliard School, the New England Conservatory of Music, Shetler Studios in New York City, or by an arranged video audition.
Over 800 musicians have experienced the Taos School of Music program. Alumni have gone on to careers as soloists, members of orchestras worldwide, founders or members of chamber groups and faculty at leading music institutions.

In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
