Taos Opera Institute

Taos Opera Insitute (TOI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), formed in 2007, is a holistic program designed to bridge the gap between academia and apprenticeships. Their philosophy focuses on integrating and improving technique, physical well being, and artistry.
TOI annually invites 28 promising young operatic artists and esteemed faculty to the beautiful Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico each summer.
These young artists receive an entire semester’s worth of lessons in one month, participate in numerous concerts, perform in a season finale Showcase, Sing in a Masterclass with Guest Artists, attend a performance at the Santa Fe Opera, and so much more!
Throughout the months of May & June, TOI also offers free concerts for the Greater Taos Community, as well as their annual Showcase Performance at the Taos Community Auditorium.

In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
