Taos Community Foundation is proud to support local public school teachers and educators. We appreciate your hard work in making this community thrive! This year, teacher mini grants are open to all educators in Taos county. Any school personnel who work directly with students – teachers, counselors, librarians, etc, may apply for grants up to $200.
This supplemental grant is intended for educational projects, and does not fund operational or capital expenses. Proposals for capital expenses
will not be considered.
Grants will be awarded in early November 2025.
1. Program must benefit students in grades K – 12 of publicly funded schools within the Taos and western Colfax counties, which includes charter schools.
2. Program must be in alignment with the Teacher Mini Grant’s mission and vision.
3. Program must be applicable to at least one of the Teacher Mini Grant’s Funding Priorities:
(a) Academic Enrichment for Students or (b) Families Partnering in Education.
1. The project must support New Mexico Content Standards. To learn more about the New Mexico Content Standards, click here.
2. The project demonstrate clear and meaningful goals.
3. The project need is clearly stated in the proposal.
4. The project budget is clear and reasonable.
Applications will be accepted from August 6th, 2025 until 5:00 pm on September 8th, 2025.
