2026 Chevron Community Scholarship

The 2026 TCF Chevron Community Scholarship Cycle is Open for Applications.

The Questa Mine has established a scholarship program to assist with higher education and vocational education expenses for qualified seniors at Questa High School. This scholarship is being administered by TCF and the Chevron Questa Scholarship Committee (CQSC). Two scholarships will be granted each year. The recipients will receive an initial award of $2,000, and each subsequent year, if the student maintains annual enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 2.5, they will receive an additional $1,000 per year for a maximum of $5,000 over four years. Awards are granted without regard for race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability, or national origin. Recipients will be announced during Senior Night Ceremonies.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be:

  1. Current high school seniors in good standing at Questa High School.
  2. Planning to enroll for the first time in a full-time course of study at an accredited college, university, or vocational school for Summer or Fall 2026.


Selection of Recipient: 
The following will be assessed by the scholarship committee through application/essay materials:

  • The applicant’s academic record.
  • Ways that the applicant has demonstrated leadership.
  • The applicant’s participation in school and community activities.
  • The applicant’s prior work experience.
  • The applicant’s goals and aspirations.
