Taos Art Museum at Fechin House

The Taos Art Museum at Fechin House is an integral part of the Taos art scene—a champion of local artists, an advocate for our architectural heritage, and the guardian of the legacy of renowned Russian artist Nicolai Fechin.
Over the past 15 years, the Museum has experienced record-breaking growth. Their nationally recognized exhibitions are reaching visitors from all 50 states and 21 countries. Popular educational programs and events are consistently sold-out as they engage individual visitors, families, and children in personal, in-depth art experiences and the heritage of both Nicolai Fechin and the Taos Society of Artists.
A contribution to the endowment helps ensure the Museum’s long-term sustainability as it provides a perpetual funding stream, enabling the Museum to preserve the Fechin House, Studio and permanent collection for future generations to enjoy.

In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
