"HEART’s mission is to pave the way to independence for families and individuals by providing emergency, transitional, and permanent housing, and supportive services."
HEART of Taos, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), committed to empowering Taos women who are experiencing homelessness.
HEART of Taos focuses on homelessness prevention by providing critical support services through individualized case management. This one-on-one approach provides the critical support needed to navigate through the complex world of social services.
HEART of Taos’ individualized case management provides access to housing assistance, benefits assistance, job readiness support, job referrals, life skills (financial literacy & budgeting, education, household maintenance), health and wellness, and basic needs (food, gas, clothes, hygiene products, personal identification documents).

If you are considering making a bequest to the HEART of Taos Endowment Fund of the Taos Community Foundation, we recommend the following:
In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
