Field Institute of Taos Fund

Field Institute of Taos, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), formed in 1996, offers outdoor education programs focused on active, hands-on learning experiences. Field Institute of Taos is based in El Prado, Taos Ski Valley and beyond, where they utilize the local outdoor environment to offer engaging summer camps, school EdVenture programs, community outreach offerings, and after school programs that focus on developing a sense of place through adventure, natural science education, and local culture exploration. All programs of Field Institute of Taos have a strong mentorship component encouraging youth and adults to share their knowledge and support.

Field Institute of Taos has a primary goal to provide experiential, environmental education, promote the learning of outdoor skills, and encourage an active, healthy lifestyle.

In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
