Bridges Project for Education
"Bridge’s mission is to expand access to postsecondary education for students of all ages in Taos County."
Bridges Project for Education, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), formed in 1997, provides free, individualized college counseling and support programs for students of all ages.
Bridges Project for Education helps students with applications and financial aid, and guide students in making informed choices about the best college for their needs (income, learning style) and academic, career and life goals.
Bridges recognizes that while not everyone in Taos County will choose to pursue postsecondary education, any person who chooses that path must be able to do so. Their mission is to expand access and improve college completion for people of all ages, with an emphasis on students who are among the first generation in their families to seek postsecondary education.

If you are considering making a bequest to the Bridges Project for Education Fund of the Taos Community Foundation, we recommend the following:
In order to make a bequest, you should speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Taos Community Foundation in your estate plan, and we would be happy to work with you and your attorney to help you identify ways to give that will ensure your charitable objectives are met. We will also work with you and your attorney to craft language to accomplish your objectives, but have provided some basic bequest language to get you started.
