Taos Community Foundation awards grants with an overall philanthropic strategy and intentionality to be responsive to the needs of our area. Effective grant making promotes social capital and supports the value of community. Our funding seeks to impact systemic change, and increase opportunities for people to overcome economic, political and social barriers.

Organizations applying should have tax exempt 501(C)(3) status and serve the people of Taos and western Colfax Counties

Taos Community Foundation reviews grants in each of our focus areas on an annual basis.  All grant proposals are assessed through a formal competitive application process.

2008/2009 application materials and grants calendar will be posted by August 29, 2008.
