Emergency Medicines Fund
Taos Community Foundation (TCF) established the Emergency Medicines Fund (MEDS) in response to the concern of two Taoseños ~ Steve and Bette Craig. Time and time again community members experience the reality of seeing others not being able to afford medications. They come to TCF looking for an opportunity to help individuals facing and feeling the pain of illness and are relieved to learn we have a fund in place where their contributions will make a difference in someone’s life. MEDS awards grants to organizations in the community to fund vouchers for the purchase of prescription medications at wholesale (or less) cost from local pharmacies and medical advocacy.LGBT Equity Fund
Purpose is to improve the quality of life for LBGT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, and Transgender) community members, build community connections and visibility.  Grants from this fund strengthen common bonds within the LGBT community and throughout the diverse communities within our county, and to respond to the unique set of needs of people identifying LGBT and living rurally.LaPlaza Legacy Fund
Supports non profits technological programs and needs.Memorial Funds
Are set up to honor the passing of a loved one. The funds are held for a period of time until the family and/or friends of a loved one decide how to use the contributions.Music in the Schools
Creating the “I can” to music, this fund’s mission is to enhance music and performing arts opportunities for students. Mindful that not all families in our diverse community have ready access to the arts, we will work to ensure that in Taos all children have access to these arts.Recreation Fund
Supports the enhancement and building of recreational facilities and creates opportunity to connect with these activities.Taos Public Education Fund
The Taos Municipal Schools Foundation is dedicated to creating a sustainable Quality Education Initiative through a strong collaborative effort within our community. TSF partners with the Taos Municipal Schools, the Taos Community Foundation and dedicated members of the school community to achieve a common vision that all students will be prepared to succeed as productive individuals in society. TSF supports schools which strive to provide every student with a high-quality education in a system devoted to equity, diversity, and social justice. The TCF Foundation Services Fund
Supports the work of Taos Community Foundation. We coordinate resources that promote safe and healthy community. We build permanent endowed funds with local donors. We help donors make wise charitable decisions. TCF supports a range of community activities. We offer flexibility to neutrally respond at the right time in the right way to a community challenge. TCF matches charitable resources with community opportunities; we handle all sides of a program transaction, from convening around a challenge, to providing donor services to establish funding streams, to leveraging resources, and to assist in capacity-building efforts of organizations.Women and Girls’ Circle Fund
Become a part of the Women and Girls Circle Fund at Taos Community Foundation and join a diverse group of caring, concerned, and engaged women. The Fund is designed to be inclusive and educational for all members. Our mission is to broaden the awareness of and response to issues affecting women and girls through the power of collective giving and informed grant making.

The focus of the grant making from this fund will be on women’s financial literacy and economic self sufficiency, and teen pregnancy education and preventions. We have joined Unidos; Funders Allied for Youth, a coalition of ten other foundations leveraging funding to address teen pregnancy in Taos and Dona Ana Counties. Our first grant was made to the Community Wellness Center to fund reproductive health education in the 7th grade.

Youth and Enviornment Agnes Martin Fund
Focuses youth connecting them to their community and environment and supporting the environment through preservation of land and parks.
