Taos Community Foundation's mission, is to build endowments to care for the geographic region we serve.

However, in times of national and/or natural disaster we need to think not only long term, but also respond in short-term ways that can be most helpful. The recent devastation in Haiti reflects the kind of disasters that creates a global call to action. We as a community can and should do our part in addressing the immediate rescue and relief aspects of this devastating earthquake.

Taos Community Foundation has a Fund for the purpose of responding the disasters whether local - like the Encebado fire or global like the Asian Tsunami or Katrina. We connect your gifts directly with colleagues giving resources that will make a difference in the lives of disaster victims.
