Highlights of Taos Community Foundation
Taos Community Foundation was established in 1998 to build charitable endowments and to serve donors. It consists of numerous permanent funds built by many thoughtful individuals, families, and companies who care about our region.

Taos Community Foundation seeks to be the Northern New Mexico leader of philanthropic capital. We have a board that is committed to this principle. It takes a whole community to make this happen – to make a lasting difference to the quality of life in Taos.

Since we began
• Raised more than $9.5 million in funds for grants and endowments
• Awarded more than 1400 grants totaling $2.9 million
• Leveraged more than $5 million in additional contributions to community

Since July of 2007  
• More than $459,000 in youth clothing and products distributed
• 5 new funds established
• More than $2 million raised for grants  and endowments
• Received a challenge grant for Build a Fund
• $518,167 was awarded to community projects
• Manage $5.4 million in total assets
• Manage 72 funds for charitable giving.
• Awarded approval with Nation Standards of CF operations

Thanks to you and many others who share your commitment for improving the quality of life in Taos, a variety of projects are now funded, benefiting everything from education and youth activities, to senior needs, to health and the environment, and to the arts.
